The A. Rudin showroom at the Merchandise Mart in Chicago has recently started to carry my artwork! They have 3 of my large oil paintings and this new resin panel titled "I Somehow Expect to Find You There."

This is a new resin panel that I was commissioned to do. It's the largest resin panel I've done to date measuring 24" high x 36" wide.

Two of my paintings, January and A Wish or Command, are currently in a 6 month (Feb - Aug) Lobby installation at 20 North Clark Street in Chicago care of Suzanne Randolph Fine Arts in New York City. My friend Kim Frieders has 2 paintings in the exhibit as well, Large Square Canvas No. 1 and Large Square Canvas No. 2.

I'm so happy to be over a deathly case of the flu in February and back in my studio again. I'm going through a stage of balancing between recently commissioned pieces and working on a new body of work. Each seems to be informing the other. I'm pretty sure my job is to pay attention to what they're saying to each other...

By the way, it's my biggest fan's birthday today. Happy Birthday, Mom! xxoo

I've just finished my third commission in the last three months and I've decided to give myself a short break to regroup. In a week or two I'll get back into my studio to experiment and play again. But for right now I'm going to take a break, be a bit quiet, relax and try out some new recipes...
